Jack Yan is the Vice President of Global Enterprise Technology, and Head of Arene Business Operations at Woven by Toyota. As the Global Head of Enterprise Technology, he is globally responsible for the company’s technology infrastructure including cloud, network, end-user and software development tools. He is a member of the Toyota Technology Steering Committee, which drives digital transformation within Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC).

As the Head of Arene Business Operations, Jack is responsible for the strategy, business development and operations of the Arene business. With the rapidly developing business landscape in mobility, he is excited about new opportunities to create value for customers and developing new business partnerships.

Prior to joining TRI-AD, which became Woven Planet, now Woven by Toyota, in 2019, Jack served as the Chief Information Office (CIO) of Nomura IT Shanghai, and has spent over 20 years in the banking industry where he held a number of senior technology roles at Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and Nomura. Having lived in Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and China, he has extensive experience in building multicultural global organizations and enterprise platforms.

He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a bachelor’s degree in Information Management. Jack loves to learn and believes the key to building good technology is to stay focused on people. He loves spending his free time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys sports and is active in golf, tennis, squash, and boxing.
